Welcome to the Mississippi Group Trip Blog

Thanks for visiting this blog and for being interested in the work that we're doing to activate the Dragon Force of the Mississippi River. We will have a busy schedule with some long travel days, but I hope to update this blog daily with descriptions, photos and videos of the places we're visiting, and thoughts about the work we're doing with Samuel.

As always, please feel free to add your own comments to my posts. It's always great when readers communicate back and share their thoughts about what I'm writing.

Day 8 and 9—Botanical Gardens and Canoe Trip

It's been a great couple of days!

Yesterday morning Samuel spoke to us about connecting and communicating with the plant kingdom in preparation for our visit to the St. Louis Botanical Gardens. In addition to answering questions from the audience, Samuel had Frank read the Dragon Activation ceremony with the group. The ceremony is similar to recent "workings" but is different in that we're not doing a regular Toning as part of the ceremony. We ARE doing a several heart tones on the note of "C." We have the standard components of recent workings, like Anointing, the Angels of Death, Heart Tines and Star Weaving, etc. What's new is a visualization. I can't provide you any more information about it because Samuel isn't allowing the group to hear the visualization until the actual working. The visualization is being read by 5 people, NOT Samuel and that's new. The five reader were given their part of the visualization yesterday and have been asked by Samuel to practice reading them clearly and slowly. Since the working will be held outside, I will be holding a wireless hand-held microphone for each reader so that the group can hear. I hope that the speakers are loud enough and that we're able to get it set up so everyone can hear. If people can't hear the visualization, they can't follow along and we won't be able to do the working. A lot is riding on our sound system working.

After lunch, we visited the St. Louis Botanical Gardens in the afternoon. People loved the visit. The weather was a bit overcast when we left and we thought we might get rained on, but the sky cleared up and there was no rain. The gardens are too large to visit in just a couple of hours, but Samuel said he was only interested in out being in the Climatron—a geodesic dome which contains a tropical rain forest inside. It's an awesome space and I can see why Samuel was wanting our energy to be there. I hope to add some photos of our visit, including the Climatron to the DiscoverSamuel.com web Gallery, so please check there if you're interested.

Today half the group went on a sunrise canoe trip. Lea and I were on this morning's trip and it was a lot of fun. It began at 6:00 down at the loading dock right in front of Pere Marquette Lodge. Our world-renowned river guides were waiting for us and in no time we were paddling out way down the Illinois River towards the Mississippi River. The day started out cloudy and with a bit of a head wind. but by mid-morning the sun was peaking through the clouds and it warmed up considerably—I was glad I had applied sunscreen before we left, it saved me from a bad burn.

We made several stops along the way. The first was for a bathroom break at the Grafton Harbor. We then canoed through the confluence of the Illinois and Mississippi Rivers. Once we were past the confluence and in a deeper part of the Mississippi River, we gathered all four canoes in the middle of the river to do a heart tone and to release a white-jade stone into the river. I don't think I've mentioned this yet, so please let me explain.

Soon after we posted the information about this trip on our website a woman in Israel who is on our e-list wrote and asked if she could send us a stone to use for the Dragon Activation. She explained that she also does a type of Dragon work and asked if we could use this stone in our Activation. We said we would be happy to bring the stone with us and wanted to know if she wanted us to return it to her when we were finished or if she was OK with Samuel putting the stone into the river. She said she would be delighted for us to use it however Samuel felt was best. Throughout this trip the stone has been on the table next to Samuel and we all added our own energy to stone by touching it and embuing it would our Guardianship energy. This morning we released this rock into the Mississippi River. It was a very touching moment. Lea stood in the canoe (these are big canoes that hold 13 people!) and explained to our guides (and reminded all of us) where the stone came from and we passed it around to our guides to touch and feel because they were very interested in the stone and what we were going to do. They thought it was a great idea to add it to the river. So, after a brief but very touching explanation, Lea held the stone over the water and let it go. It soon sank out of sight and it now a part of the great river—a seed for the activation of the Dragon Force and an anchor for the energy of Guardians who came to awaken her.

After that sepcial stop, we continued paddling our way down stream. We soon encountered some islands and we paddled a channel between two islands and had a special moment of silence. We stopped rowing and just let the current carry us downstream as we listened to the music of the birds and insect, felt the sun and breeze on our skin and mergerd with the river. It was a magical experience and one that I hope to never forget.

A bit further downstream we stopped at an island for a stretch and a break from paddling. Some wadded in the water and many began collecting trash that was found along the bank. One of our guides brought a large mesh bag for collection and we easily filled it. It's so sad that there's so much garbage in our rivers.

We pushed off again and then paddled our way down to our final destination, the harbor of Piasa. We arrive at about 11:30 a.m. As we were rounding the corner of the harbor to reach the docks, our trou bus pulled up into the parking lot—what timing!

We disembarked a tired, but happy group of Guardians! Tomorrow the other half of the group does the same ride (without the jade stone, of course). Please send them energy for great weather and joyful, safe and magical paddle. Thanks.

I'll post more tomorrow. Until then much love and happy trails!

Stuart
